New researcher brings expertise in advertising, psychology
The Spiegel Research Center welcomes postdoctoral researcher Ewa Maslowska to the team. Maslowska joins the Spiegel Center from the Netherlands where she was a lecturer in Communication & Journalism at HU University of Applied Sciences, Utrecht.
She completed her doctorate in 2013 at the University of Amsterdam, with a dissertation called “Just for You!”; a study into the effectiveness and mechanism of customized communications.
Her teaching experience includes media strategies, practical research skills and research methods in communications science.
Maslowska has begun contributing to Spiegel research projects including negative word of mouth, defining customer engagement, and a study of how consumers respond to internet overage fees.
